Wonderful Chia Seed Recipe for Energy Boost and Digestion

Chia seeds have long been known as "The Ancient Seed" and are absolutely one of my most favorite foods.  I not only have experienced wonderful results in my own health as a result of adding chia seeds to my diet, I see people who come through my clinic that add chia seeds to their diets and also get wonderful results as well.

My favorite way to take in chia seeds are through the chia gel that I make to go in my smoothies, and that is what I am teaching you today.

I hope that you enjoy this video!

Chia Gel Recipe
2 cups warm water
1/3 cup chia seeds (raw, organic is best)

Pour seeds in water and stir.  Let sit for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Store in refridgerator.  Will last 5 to 6 days.

Chia Pudding
4 to 5 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
2 Cups Almond Milk
2 Tablespoons Raw Honey or Agave Nectar (or amount to taste)
1 Teaspoon Vanilla or Cinnamon (to taste)

Pour seeds, almond milk, agave and vanilla in blender and pulse.  Pour in bowl and let the seeds gel for about 15 minutes.  Stir and enjoy!

Banana Nut Bread   (Dehydrator Recipe)
2 cups of vegetable pulp from your juicer (carrot is yummy!)
8 Tablespoons of Chia Seeds
3/4 cups of Walnuts, chopped finely
3/4 cups of Raisins
4 Bananas (Very Ripe!)

Mix all ingredients together, form a "loaf" on a teflex dehydrator sheet, and put into the dehydrator overnight.  You may have to adjust your dehydrator time according to your dehydrator model and your preference.  The loaf is best served warm and will remain moist inside.  So delicious!
