Custom Blogger Blog, YouTube or FaceBook Cover by LeeLou Blogs

I love to share with you when I find a really great deal or amazing product.  In this case I found both!  LeeLou Blogs are the best.  I had Brooke over at LeeLou design my personal blog here at www.IKeepSmiling.com as well as my YouTube ikeepsmiling channel and my I Keep Smiling facebook page.

Brooke did an amazing job.  She was patient and made things so so easy for me.  She took creative liberties when I needed her to and never once made me feel guilty for having her change items a couple of times.  The whole experience was great and I would highly recommend working with her.

Thanks Brooke!

Everyone have a blessed day and remember to be grateful for EVERY day of life you are given.

I love you all.

Coffee Enema Recipe and Support for Body DETOX

When you think about it, the words 'coffee' and 'enema' seem like they shouldn't even go together.  But coffee enemas are an awesome way to support any healing protocol or body detox program that you are doing.

Coffee enemas are simple to do and can easily be done at home.  In this video I show you the recipe that I personally use and how I go about making a coffee enema.

The recipe that I use is 1 Tablespoon per cup of water of ORGANIC ground coffee.  (The implants that I make for myself are usually 3 Tbsp coffee to 3 cups of water.)  I then bring the water to a boil for approximately 15 minutes.  I strain the coffee grounds out of the enema mixture and then it is ready to pour into the enema bag or bucket.

Coffee enemas are traditionally used as a retention enema and the goal is to be able to hold a retention enema in for approximately 15 minutes.  Sometimes you may have to actually work your way up to being able to hold it in that long.

Ways to help yourself be able to hold the coffee enema in for 15 minutes:
  1. Work with the amounts of water (ie. 2 cup mixture vs. 3 cup mixture).  Try reducing the amount of enema mixture and then work your way up.
  2. Taking the enema in slowly.  Sometimes if you have the water flow going too fast it can cause cramping and make you want to expel faster
  3. Make sure that the enema temperature is a little warmer than body temperature.  Implants that are too hot or too cold can cause the colon to spasm and make you want to expel too quickly.
  4. Sometimes doing a cleansing enema (up to 2 quarts or more)  before the coffee enema is helpful to cleanse out the lower portion of the colon so that you are able to hold the coffee enema in longer.

Hopefully this video was a blessing to you and helped to answer any questions that you may have about how to mix up your own coffee enema.

Have a blessed day!

VLOG 14 - I Actually Found A Pot Of Gold At The End Of The Rainbow!

Here's another one of my somewhat daily VLOG updates. :)

This has to be one of the most special things that has happened to me in a long time, and in my usual long, drawn out, filled with wayyyy too many details for most people's comfort, I share it with you.  :)

How To Do A Water Enema While Juice Fasting

In my opinion, water enemas are a must if you are doing a prolonged water or juice fast.  It is so important to support the body in it's work to try and detox and heal the body.  You cannot possibly keep up with the amount of cellular and solid waste that the body is trying it's best to get rid of during a fast without the enemas.

And while, yes, it can definitely be done without the enemas the difference is night and day.

Supporting your detox and weight loss with enemas help to lessen detox symptoms, help the body to move past the detox phase and onto the healing and repair phase and prevent toxins that are moving through the liver and into the colon from being reabsorbed.

While water enemas can be akward while you are first learning they are so easy and are not painful.  They are a wonderful way to support yourself and your journey to health.

Now go and be AWESOME and remember to Keep Smiling! :)

Using the Neti-Pot to Help Your Body Detox

I love the Neti-Pot.

There! I said it.  I do love the Neti-Pot.  This is such a natural and gentle way to support and cleanse the body.

Most of the time we are so concerned about cleansing the outside of our bodies that we give no thought to the inside.  Or we mistakenly believe that just because our bodies keep functioning each day that they do an efficient job at keeping up with the elimination of everything that we come into contact with every day.

Using the neti-pot is essential, in my opinion, when doing any kind of detox or weight loss program or fast.  The body needs it.

So, don't be scared!  Lol!  It really is okay.  Trust me, you will LOVE it!

Using Muscle Testing to Make a Custom Bach Flower Remedy

Hi Everyone!  This has been an awesome week and it just keeps getting better!  :)

I was making a custom Bach Flower Remedy today for someone and I thought that you might enjoy seeing how this is done.

In this video I am using a method called Muscle Testing to test for what Bach flowers that I should use for the custom remedy that I am making.  Muscle testing is easy to learn and I feel that it is a wonderful tool to use to help you know "in the now" if something that you are using is in harmony with your body or not.

I will make a video on how to learn Muscle Testing, or Kinesiology, very soon. :)

I love the Bach Flowers.  They are so gentle and yet absolutely amazing for helping the mind and emotions as well as the body on so many levels. You can purchase Bach Flower Remedies in singles or in custom blends already made.

I have several blends that are already made up on my website that my clients and I use.  You can find those here:  http://www.internapure.com/bachfloweressences.html

I hope that yall keep searching, keep growing and most of all Keep Smiling! :)

Book Review - Days 1 - 8 of THE MAGIC by Rhonda Byrne

I have been reading The Magic by Rhonda Byrne.  I have really enjoyed the unique exercises and practices that she is suggesting to help us incorporate more gratitude into our days and to help us cultivate the habit of feeling grateful.  I believe this goes a long way in combating our society's habit of being quick to criticize and think and act negatively.

Gratitude.  How wonderful.

Today I cover the first 8 days of the book.  She takes you through 28 days to try and help you establish this mindset as a firm habit.

I have enjoyed it so far and recommend it as a fun way to achieve some self growth.  Forward we go!
Love to you all!

Why Is My Body Not Healing?

Today I answer the question asked: Why is my body not healing? It can be really frustrating when we feel that we are doing all of the right things and our bodies are still not healing.

We have to remember:
1. It took sometimes decades of our lives to get to the place we are now. Your health is a culmination of your lifestyle and healthcare choices. It is not going to be able to heal in a day or sometimes even in a month or a year. There is no magic pill - you have to do the work.

2. Make sure that you are looking at the cause and not the symptom. Most health complaints are made towards the symptoms that are presented from some disharmony in the body. Most of the time we don't take the time to sit down and look at what we are trying to achieve. Throwing supplements at a symptom presented in the body doesn't always address the cause.

3. The body has a healing order. Sometimes the body may need to strengthen another body system before addressing the cause of the symptoms you are trying to heal. The natural state of the body is one of health, abundance and harmony. Make no mistake, the body is always trying to achieve that. Your body is on your side and is always working for you.

4. Make sure that you are giving your body the cleanest landscape possible to heal from. Take in only clean, ripe, organic fruits and vegetables. Use tools to deal with any emotional issues that are causing you stress. Forgive yourself and your body for any percieved failings. Get in touch with your inner self and don't live so much in your head and in reaction to the environment around you - doing things that are not in harmony with your body is sometimes part of what got you to where you are. Exercise - get outside in the fresh air! It will do you good. :) And for goodness sakes, don't just run out and take a ton of supplements just because the bottle says it's good or someone on TV said it was good. It might be good for them but maybe not for you. In health, sometimes less really is more!

I love you all and hope that you cultivate a more loving space for your own heart to reside in.
